American equipment manufacturer DELPHI has bought the car radio division of German consumer electricals producer GRUNDIG, which has filed for bankruptcy, for 58 million EUR (including 3 million in debt). GRUNDIG CARINTERMEDIA SYSTEMS recorded a turnover of more than 170 million EUR in 2002, and employs 1,000.
