EIB loan to Latvia for SME projects

Brussels, 10/10/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Investment Bank (EIB) will grant the Latvian Mortgages and Property bank a long term EUR 30 million loan for SME projects. Signed on 6 October in Riga the capital of Latvia, by Sauli Niinistö EIB Vice President and Inesis Feiferis, President of the Latvian bank, this loan will help fund projects in industry, services and tourism, as well as small and medium loans for environmental protection, economies in energy and infrastructure.
