10/10/2003 (Agence Europe) - On a vistit to Morocco, President Chirac, Frnch Member of the Greens/EFA group, Hélène Flautre and Daniel Cohn Bendit were keen to point out that the director of two Moroccan newspapers, Demain and Doumane was still in prison. Fanco-Moroccan citizen, Ali lmrabet was condemned in June for "insulting the King" Mohamed VI, after publishing a series of charactactures. The MEPs want Mr Chirac to ask the King, with thr former's broad experience of being charactatured, to indicatte that politifal humour was typical to democratic life.
