European Parliament concerned at crisis in European space industry and calls for extra public investment

Brussels, 10/10/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament has expressed its concern at the crisis in the European space industry. MEPs on Thursday approved, by a large majority (394 in favour, 41 against and 54 abstentions) the report by Guido Bodrato (EPP, Italy) on European space policy, which calls upon public institutions to increase their investments and orders.
