Brussels, 10/10/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament has called on the Commission to "immediately" define what the airline data on trans-Atlantic passengers (which can be sent to the US authorities ) is, in order to respect by mid-December, European regulation on access to airline company files.
In a resolution adopted on Thursday in Brussels (by 445 vote for, 31 against and 21 abstentions), Parliament points out that ongoing negotiations with the USA on access to "personal data"...
