Launch ceremony for negotiating economic partnership agreements between EU and two regional groupings from Africa on 4-6 October

Brussels, 24/09/2003 (Agence Europe) - The formal opening of trade negotiations between the European Union and two of the main regional entities from the ACP group (Caribbean and Pacific Africa) are just about to negotiate economic partnership agreements (EPA) with the EU.

The two regions involved are central Africa and west Africa, which have designated, respectively, the Economic and Monetary Community of Central Africa (CEMAC) and the Economic Community of West African States (CEDEAO) as...
