EP's support for Germany's initiative to organise assistance between Member States for air expulsions

Strasbourg, 24/09/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament gave its support on Tuesday to the German proposal to organise assistance between Member States for the transit of illegal immigrants being deported by air. The report by British Conservative Timothy Kirkhope suggests a few minor changes, largely with a view to making the text clearer. This opinion is not binding to Council.
