24/09/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has authorised two operations according to simplified procedure. On one hand, it has authorised a subsidiary of the American Express group to take over total control of the British company, Threadneedle Asset Management Holdings. It has also given clearance for the acquisition of FL Selenia, an Italian industrial lubricant manufacturer, by the American investment company, Vestar Capital.
