Parliament hopes to strengthen maritime security and votes in favour of temporary committee on Prestige disaster

Brussels, 23/09/2003 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday during its plenary session in Strasbourg, the European Parliament called for the creation of a temporary parliamentary committee to shed light on the causes and consequences of the Prestige oil tanker disaster.
