Brussels, 23/09/2003 (Agence Europe) - Alexandros Alavanos, Greek member of the United Left/Nordic Left group, put a question to the Council of the European Union on Iraq's seat in the UN. He feels that Iraq, as an occupied country, does not have the legitimacy justifying keeping a seat at the UN.
