12/09/2003 (Agence Europe) - According to the first estimates for the second quarter of 2003 published on 12 September by Eurostat, the EU15 external current account recorded a surplus of EUR 9.5 billion in the second quarter of 2003 (+7 bn in the second quarter of 2002 and +8.2 bn in the first quarter of 2003).
