Anna Diamantopoulou still cannot set a date for presenting European Directive aimed at fighting discrimination toward women outside the workplace - results of public hearing

Brussels, 12/09/2003 (Agence Europe) - On the occasion of a public hearing, held on Wednesday 10 September in Brussels on the theme "Discrimination against women outside the workplace" (see EUROPE of 3 September, p.13), the EP Committee on Women's Rights and Equal Opportunities expressed itself in favour of a European directive to combat discrimination against women outside the workplace.
