Javier Solana hails mutual apologies by Serbia Montenegro and Croatia

Brussels, 12/09/2003 (Agence Europe) - On Thursday, EU High Representative Javier Solana issued the following statement after the meeting of Croatian President Stipe Mesic and President of Serbia and Montenegro Svetozar Marovic: "I am encouraged by the reciprocal apologies for past wrongs exchanged by President Mesic and President Marovic on the occasion of the first official visit by a Croatian President to Belgrade since the war in 1991.
