Creation of EU Border Control Agency to be proposed this year

Rome, 12/09/2003 (Agence Europe) - In Rome on Friday after the informal summit of Member States' home affairs ministers and their counterparts from acceding and candidate countries, Justice and Internal Affairs Commissioner Antonio Vitorino said that the European Commission would be unveiling its proposal for the creation of an EU Border Control Agency later this year.
