Javier Solana in Iran and Middle East

Brussels, 29/08/2003 (Agence Europe) - Javier Solana, the EU's High Representative for CFSP, has been in Iran since Friday on a two-day visit during which he is to meet the Iranian government for discussion on relations between the EU and Iran - and also above all on the nuclear issue - as well as on the situation in Iraq and the Middle East (EUROPE of 23 July, p.5). Mr Solana will then go on to the Middle East for a four-day visit which will take him to Israel, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon....
