M Prodi invited to special meeting of chairmen's conference of EP political groups on 25 September

Brussels, 29/08/2003 (Agence Europe) - The President of the European Commission, Romano Prodi, is to attend an extraordinary meeting of the chairmen's conference of the political groups of the European Parliament in Strasbourg on 25 September, in order to take stock of progress in the Eurostat embezzlement affair (see yesterday's EUROPE, p.7).
