Daniel Cohn-Bendit and Monica Frassoni call for "climatic stability pact" for EU

Brussels, 29/08/2003 (Agence Europe) - The two co-presidents of the Greens/EFA Group of the European Parliament, French national Daniel Cohn-Bendit and Italian Monica Frassoni, call for the European Commission to set in place a "climatic stability pact" to compel the EU to keep its commitments with regards reduction of CO2 emissions as provided for in the Kyoto Protocol. They also call for a real sustainable energy policy to be developed providing for compulsory objectives - reviewed upwards...
