24/07/2003 (Agence Europe) - The Council has adopted without debate and in first reading, the regulation to speed up the scrapping of sing hull oil tankers that enter and leave Community ports and the banning of these kind of oil tankers transporting heavy fuels. The regulation will enter into force 20 days after its publication in the Official Journal (EUROPE 17 July p 15).
