Overall loan of EUR 40 million to Volksbank Hungary

Luxembourg, 08/07/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Investment Bank (EIB) concluded, on 7 July in Budapest, a financing contract concerning the granting of an overall loan of EUR 40 million to Volksbank Hungary. It will be used to finance, in Hungary, small and medium-sized projects in the fields of energy, energy saving, protection of the environment, infrastructures (including those relating to health, education, urban renovation and social housing), industry, services and tourism.
