08/07/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament's Legal Committee has called on the European Commission to present it with an amended text of directive on consumer credit or at least to point out whether it is willing to amend certain elements of its proposal. The rapporteur, CSU member Joachim Wuermeling, has, according to a press release, mainly warned against the restrictions to access to credit by consumers.
