08/07/2003 (Agence Europe) - In Saturday's edition of EUROPE (5 July) two mistakes managed to slip into the article on equality and the media. Instead of the European Council of Editors, it should have read the European Publishers Council. The quotation by the EPC should have read, "We believe that the EU does not have competence in regulating the content of the press and must remain open to national and cultural differences".
