Parliament endorses more ambitious collection and recycling targets for packaging and packaging waste - Conciliation to decide on deadlines

Brussels, 08/07/2003 (Agence Europe) - Last week, the European Parliament gave the green light to the revision of Directive 94/62/EC on Packaging and Packaging Waste. The revision more than doubles the minimum recycling targets. A conciliation procedure with the Council will probably be needed, however, to strike final agreement.
