Loan to BDPME to fund SMEs in FRANCE

Luxembourg, 07/07/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Investment Bank (EIB) has decided to grant the Crédit d'Equipement des PME (CEPME), a 97%-owned subsidiary of the Banque du Développement des PMS (BDPME), a loan of 50 million EUR, to support the funding of small and medium enterprises. By providing long-term resources at the best market rates, the EIB hopes to allow the BDPME to increase its funding activities in equipping SMEs.
