Commission considers major objectives for World Radiocommunication Conference have been met

Brussels, 07/07/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission welcomes the results achieved by the World Radiocommunication Conference 2003 (WRC-03), which ended last Friday in Geneva after four weeks of negotiation. This session of the conference - which is organised at regular intervals by the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) - was aimed at updating the allocation of radio spectrum and its usage conditions at global level.
