07/07/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has decided to contribute 11 million EUR to a project to improve urban services and environment in the largest metropolis in the Central Valley region, the most prosperous part of Costa Rica. The aim of this project is to establish an efficient "urban system" by reducing current environmental, social and economic costs.
