Joint venture is approved between Arcelor and Umicore

Brussels, 07/07/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has authorised the creation of a joint undertaking between Arcelor and Umicore. The latter is a Belgian company active in the markets for non-ferrous metals, ferro-alloys and related products. Part of the activities are carried out by its subsidiaries Sogem SA, UMS France and UMS Iberica.
