Brussels, 07/07/2003 (Agence Europe) - The President of the European Economic and Social Committee, Roger Briesch, met the Tunisian Prime Minister, Mohamed Ghannouchi, his Tunisian counterpart Aballah Kaabi, and representatives of civil society during his official visit to Tunis on 1 and 2 July. The two-day meeting was devoted to the role of civil society in the Euro-Mediterranean partnership and to the deepening of relations between the civil society of the EU and Tunisia.
