Brussels, 07/07/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission and Israel have initialled an agreement on new reciprocal liberalisation measures in the agricultural sector. Under this agreement, most exchanges of agricultural products between the two parties will be liberalised. This will take the form of preferential treatment with or without quotas. To enter into force, the agreement must be adopted by the Member States of the EU.
