Italian Presidency hopes to close Ecopoints dossier before end of year

Naples, 07/07/2003 (Agence Europe) - Italian Transport Minister Pietro Lunardi declared on Saturday on the fringe of the informal meeting of Transport Ministers in Naples that he wished to close the dossier on ecopoints "before the end of the year". Giving his assurance that his country would remain "neutral" during the Council Presidency, the minister announced "bilateral meetings before conciliation" that would take place (especially with Austria) in order to find a solution to this thorny...
