Brussels, 26/06/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Road Transport Advisory Committee, ERTRAC, held its first meeting on 25 June. Like similar existing committees, notably for the rail and aeronautical sectors, the objective is to bring together all players concerned (people from industry, researchers, legislators, national competent authorities, users), headed by the European Commission, to develop a long-term “strategic research agenda” for road transport.
