26/06/2003 (Agence Europe) - According to accelerated examination procedure, the European Commission has approved the joint takeover of Bertelsmann OnLine by the Holtzbrinck networkXs, Verlagsgruppe Weltbild and T-Online Venture. This was hitherto a fully-owned subsidiary of the German group Bertelsmann.
