New IES directives for UN guiding cooperation between humanitarian organisation, weapons and civilian protection in emergency UN led operations

Brussels, 26/06/2003 (Agence Europe) - Military resources and civilian protection and humanitarian organisations will now know how exactly to use their knowledge and advantages in effective cooperation on the ground - each of them has their own sphere of competency during complex operations emergency humanitarian operations carried out by the UN.
