Moroccan Prime minister visits Brussels and calls for strengthening of relations to help attain “advanced status”

Brussels, 18/06/2003 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday in Brussels, the Moroccan Prime Minister, Driss Jettou, met President Prodi, as well as Commissioners Patten and Lamy and High Representative Solana. Appointed Head of the Moroccan government in October 2002, after the elections that saw a slight rise in currents on the religious far right, Mr Jettou (described as a technocrat) is beginning his first European tour - Paris then Brussels - to appeal for the intensification of Euro-Moroccan...
