Gebhardt and De Rossa reports reject legal base of Article 308 of Treaty on proposal for regulation on ECS (European Cooperative Society) statute and on directive supplementing the statute with regard involvement of employees

Brussels, 12/05/2003 (Agence Europe) - The current debate on the establishment of a European Cooperative Society (ECS) is dominated by the conflict over the legal base, not only on the matter of a regulation for the Statute for a European Cooperative Society but also that of the directive that would supplement the Statute with regard to the involvement of employees.
