12/05/2003 (Agence Europe) - Pat Cox, President of the European Parliament, is to sign a directive on Wednesday aimed at promoting the use of bio-fuels within the EU. The Agriculture Council of 8 April adopted without debate all the amendments made at second reading by the European Parliament to its common position (EUROPE of 15 March, p.14).
