12/05/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Union has imposed a provisional anti-dumping duty on imports of furfuryl alcohol from the People's Republic of China. The relevant exporters will have to pay additional duty in the next six months of between EUR 21 and EUR 181 on a case-by-case basis. The recently completed investigations (see Official Journal L114) confirmed dumping was being practised to the detriment of Furan Chemicals, the only EU manufacturer of furfuryl alcohol, which had made...
