Brussels, 24/02/2003 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament's Committee for Employment and Social Affairs, chaired by Theodorus Bouwman (Greens/ALE, Netherlands), held a very fruitful discussion with Commissioner Anna Diamantopoulou on the new Community strategy in terms of health and safety in the workplace (2002-2006). The British Labour MEP Stephen Hughes is EP rapporteur on this issue.
