Former Director of ECHO says resignation of Santer Commission was disproportionate - Erik Meijer

Brussels, 24/02/2003 (Agence Europe) - Dutch MEP Erik Meijer (UEL/NGL) has asked the European Commission whether it is planning to take disciplinary measures against one of its officials who, in a report, gave the impression that the resignation of the Santer Commission bore witness to "completely unfair, disproportionate and largely simply non-existent allegations of fraud and corruption".
