04/02/2003 (Agence Europe) - A small part of the fishing industry in Galicia was allowed to resume its activity on Monday, two months after the sinking of the "Prestige" that spilt its oil onto the coasts of the region.. The government of Galicia lifted the bans on the collection of clams and cockles along the coast and the fishing of deep water shell fish. The remainder still remains banned along most of the 1,100 kilometres of Calician coastline.
