04/02/2003 (Agence Europe) - In its annual recommendations on the budget, the Bush Administration calls on Congress to agree to a major reform of the tax code to meet the demands of the World Trade Organisation in the transatlantic dispute on subsidies provided to American firms for sales abroad (Foreign Sales Corporation). The verdicts in Geneva against the FSC/ETI scheme "demand substantial changes to our international tax rules", the White house acknowledges.
