Italian Internet service provider TISCALI is to acquire the Spanish Internet access provider AIRTELNET from British VODAFONE for EUR 9.86 million in shares. TISCALI, which had 7 million subscribers end September 2002, specifies that AIRTEL has 110,000 subscribers, including 500 professional subscribers.
