Romano Prodi gives indications on island policy at conference on insularity organised by Mariotto Segni

Sassari, 28/01/2003 (Agence Europe) - European Commission President Romano Prodi, who was speaking at a conference on the theme "reasons for insularity" organised at Sassari, in Sardinia, by MEP Mariotto Segni (UEN, Italy) last Saturday, spoke of the Commission study that analyses the insular regions of the EU. He said the study is now in its "home stretch". It makes recommendations of a general kind, the Commission president said. He believes it is mainly a question of better coordinating...
