28/01/2003 (Agence Europe) - Before Wednesday's debate in plenary, some EP leaders have called for the war in Iraq to be averted. "Although Iraq has not fully co-operated, nothing that we have heard (from the UN inspectors) warrants military intervention", says Daniel Cohn-Bendit, leader of the Greens/EFA Group. According to him, the inspectors must be given the time necessary, which "does not mean a few weeks, but several months", time that can be used to find a peaceful solution. Graham...
