Joint consultative committee worried about situation of SMEs in Romania

Brussels, 10/01/2003 (Agence Europe) - Following the EU/Romania Joint Consultative Committee meeting last December in Brussels, which was chaired by Dan Cristescu - Romanian Economic and Social Committee and Adrien Bedossa - European Economic and Social Committee (ESC), a joint declaration was adopted calling on the Romanian government and local authorities to increase their support for developing social dialogue between social partners and organisations from Romanian civil society.
