Polish Primate accuses Convention of violating democracy as it rejects any reference to God in EU's future Constitution

Brussels, 10/01/2003 (Agence Europe) - In an interview with the Polish Catholic press agency KAI, Cardinal Jozef Glemp, head of the Polish Church wondered about "the nervousness with which we (the members of the Convention on the future of Europe: Ed.) defend ourselves against invoking the name of God" in the future EU Constitution.
