10/01/2003 (Agence Europe) - The trade provisions of the EU-Lebanon association agreement will take effect on 1 March this year, it is announced in Community circles. The Lebanese parliament gave its go-ahead in December last and the agreement was officially notified to the Commission by the Lebanese authorities on 7 January.
