EP approves joint project on electrical and electronic waste and restricted use of certain dangerous substances in such equipment

Strasbourg, 18/12/2002 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday, the European Parliament approved two joint projects resulting from conciliation with Council concerning electrical and electronic equipment (one was on used electrical and electronic products, and the other on the restricted use of certain dangerous substances in their manufacture). The rapporteur was German Christian Democrat Karl-Heinz Florenz.

The conciliation committee met on 10 October to reach, in the small hours of 11 October...
