Strasbourg, 18/12/2002 (Agence Europe) - Compliments were flying across the House on Tuesday afternoon during the final debate of the European Parliament on the budget for the year 2003. It is a historical budget as it will be the last for a Europe of Fifteen. So there were compliments to the rapporteurs, both of whom were Swedish, to the Commission, to the Council and to the Chairperson of the Committee on Budgets.
