Danish Presidency will present new compromise papers on Thursday on TAC and fisheries reform

Brussels, 18/12/2002 (Agence Europe) - Despite the announcement of the failure of Ministerial and technical level negotiations on the Common Fisheries Policy (CFP) and the Total Allowable Catches (TAC) for 2003 (including cod replenishment measures), the Danish Presidency has announced that it will be presenting new compromise texts on Thursday in an effort to reach an agreement on these very controversial cases.
