EUR 150 million loan to Toyota Motor Manufacturing in Turkey

Luxembourg, 19/11/2002 (Agence Europe) - The European Investment Bank (EIB) is going to make out a loan of EUR 150 million to Toyota Otomotiv Sanayi Türkeye A. ª for financing the modernisation of a car production plant in Adapazari, the Eastern part of Marmara. The investment will allow for factory capacity to be increased in the production of certain new range Toyota Corolla cars. The project should provide a boost to the region's economy.
